Format

Walkaround performance

Continuous roaming performance across a long event, where the entertainment is texture rather than a moment.

What it is

A performer circulates for three hours or more, working briefly and moving on, often across several rooms.

It suits events where guests arrive and leave throughout rather than sitting down together.

What usually goes wrong

The three failures we see most

  • Stamina. A performer who is excellent for ninety minutes is noticeably worse in hour three, and most buyers never see the difference until it is happening.

  • No break is scheduled, so the performer takes one anyway and it looks like absence.

How we match against this

For briefs over three hours we ask specifically about long-form experience, and we build breaks into the contract rather than leaving them informal.

What to budget

Typically €2,500–7,000 for three to four hours, including scheduled breaks.

Our fee is separate, flat, set by the brief, and quoted before we build a shortlist — so it does not move with which performer you choose. How it works.

Best for

Exhibitions · Long receptions · Hotel residencies · Festivals

A rooftop reception at dusk above a city skyline, guests laughing as a card is shown.
A seated dinner on a Mediterranean terrace at dusk, guests turning towards a card held mid-air.
A fireside gathering in an alpine chalet, guests reacting to a fan of cards against snow-lit windows.
Describe the event. We will recommend two or three performers who fit it, with the reasoning written down — and tell you plainly when the answer is none of them.
