Booking terms
A summary in plain language. The contract you sign governs, and it says the same things at greater length.
We contract as principal
You contract with MAGIQ. MAGIQ engages the performer. This is what makes “we are responsible” a legal fact rather than a marketing line, and it is what makes the replacement commitment enforceable.
Two figures, one document
The performer’s fee and the MAGIQ fee appear separately on the same document. We never deduct anything from the performer’s fee. Our fee is flat, set by the brief, and quoted before any shortlist is built.
The replacement commitment
If a booked performer cannot appear, we source a replacement of equivalent standard or refund our fee in full and assist at no charge.
It covers performer non-appearance and performer cancellation. It does not cover force majeure, venue failure, cancellation by you, or dissatisfaction with an act that appeared and performed as briefed.
Cancellation
Cancellation terms are set out in the booking contract and vary with notice given. Our placement fee is earned when the recommendation is delivered and is not contingent on you proceeding with a booking.
Observation
We attend placements or run a structured debrief afterwards, and we record the outcome. Performers agree to this as a condition of the roster. Nothing identifying you is published without your permission.
