For performers
We never take a cut of your fee.
You are quoted at your band and paid in full. The buyer pays us separately for judgment and accountability. In a market where representation is funded by compressing performer pay, this is not a better deal — it is a different relationship.

Joining does not guarantee briefs.
Some months there will be none for you. We match on fit against a specific brief — never on seniority, never on who is owed work.
Nothing you can pay for improves your chances.
Not membership, not training, not anything. There is no payment path to placement or to Verified, and there never will be.
Verified cannot be bought, accelerated or bundled.
It is issued from observed evidence against published criteria, and it can be revoked.
Five gates. Most applicants do not pass them.
The criteria are published in full before you apply, so you can assess yourself against them and decide not to apply yet. That is a successful outcome, not a lost one.
Self-selection
The criteria are published before anyone applies. Most of the wrong applicants remove themselves, which costs us nothing to operate and is the strongest filter available.
Structured application
Verifiable performance history with real buyers and dates. Two contactable buyer references. Current public liability insurance. Live footage with a real audience — not a studio reel, because the audience's face is the evidence and the performer's edit is the claim.
Evidence check
References contacted against a fixed question set. Insurance verified. History spot-checked against venues. How a performer behaves while being assessed is itself recorded, because it is the closest available preview of how they will behave with you.
Craft assessment
Assessed by someone who performs at the level being judged. This is the one gate where subjective judgment is not only permitted but required — and it is why MAGIQ launched deep in magic rather than broad across categories.
Conversation
Not an interview. How they think about the buyer, and whether they treat your requirements as the job or as an inconvenience. That is usually clear within ten minutes and predicts more than the showreel does.
Your fee, whole
Quoted at your agreed band and paid in full, on terms.
Briefs you would never see
From buyers who would not have found you, at budgets your own enquiries do not reach.
A reputation that compounds
In a market with no memory, every booking starts you from zero. Here, every observed placement accumulates as evidence under your name and travels with it.
Non-exclusive representation
Keep your own bookings and any other representation. We protect briefs we originate for 18 months; everything else is yours.
Someone else carrying the risk
We hold the buyer relationship and the accountability — the part most performers are least equipped to provide, and the part buyers are actually paying for.
Roster intake · 2026
The cap is a consequence of how assessment works, not a sales device. Every applicant is judged by someone who performs at the level being assessed, and placements must be observed before anyone reaches Verified — which limits how many performers can be taken on in a year however many apply. Applications are reviewed monthly.
Who should not apply
If being assessed feels like an insult, this is the wrong company — and it is better for both of us to establish that in the first conversation rather than the fifth.
