Occasion

Private parties

Smaller rooms, higher expectations, and a host whose standing among their own guests is what is actually at stake.

What it is

Birthdays, anniversaries and house parties, typically twenty to a hundred and fifty guests.

Often booked through a house manager, family office or private assistant rather than by the host.

What usually goes wrong

The three failures we see most

  • Discretion. A performer posts a photograph from inside a private home, and it is the last thing they do for that client or anyone connected to them.

  • The performance is pitched at a public audience in a room of twenty people who all know each other.

How we match against this

We confirm the performer's position on photography and social media in writing, before the shortlist.

We advise on what is appropriate for the room rather than presenting what is available.

What to budget

Typically €2,000–10,000, with the widest range of any brief we take.

Our fee is separate, flat, set by the brief, and quoted before we build a shortlist — so it does not move with which performer you choose. How it works.

Best for

Milestone birthdays · Anniversaries · At-home entertaining

A rooftop reception at dusk above a city skyline, guests laughing as a card is shown.
A seated dinner on a Mediterranean terrace at dusk, guests turning towards a card held mid-air.
A fireside gathering in an alpine chalet, guests reacting to a fan of cards against snow-lit windows.
Describe the event. We will recommend two or three performers who fit it, with the reasoning written down — and tell you plainly when the answer is none of them.
